Oahu’s Rebel Souljahz are returning to the mainland for another headlining tour. One of Hawaii’s premier reggae acts have been building a large fan base along the west coast of the United States, and the shows only continue to grow with each tour stop.
California has long been home to quality reggae music, and has served as a primary hub for Hawaiian based touring groups. With seven shows in the “Golden State,” Rebel Souljahz will bring their Forever Beautiful Tour through San Francisco, San Deigo and even a showcase at the House of Blues at Disneyland on Halloween night, as well as hitting major and secondary markets up and down the coast.
One highlight of the tour will be a fly-away date to Tahiti at the Royal Tahitien at the midway point of the tour. The tour finale will bring the Rebel Souljahz team back home to Honolulu for back-to-back nights at The Republik.
The Rebel Souljahz are comprised of four talented vocalists, each with their own unique style, but together creating a harmonious foursome unlike any other recording group in the reggae genre. The soulful harmonies by the four lead singers make up the signature sound from Rebel Souljahz.
That sound has launched multiple Rebel Souljahz songs to the top of Hawaiian radio stations’ most requested list for the better part of the last decade. Their most recent release, Souljahz for Life saw half the album reach the top spot on each successive single release for “Gotta Know Your Name,” “Take It Slow,” “Play Me Like A Fool” as the album’s title track.
