From the mainland, but representing Hawai’i, Through The Roots is set to headline a nationwide tour.
Through The Roots has rapidly emerged as veterans in the reggae-rock community within the United States. In the band’s early days, Through The Roots supported some of the biggest bands on nationwide tours, including Tribal Seeds, Rebelution, Fortunate Youth, Slightly Stoopid, and many more.
Since the band’s debut EP in 2011, Here To Stay, the band’s fan base grew exponentially with relentless touring both in the United States, and the pacific islands of Hawai’i and Guam. Since their first debut album, the band has released two more EPs and one full-length album, Take You There (2013), as well as, five single releases, keeping their devoted fan base connected to the sound.
Most recently, Through The Roots spent the 2016 summer concert calendar touring alongside American reggae mainstays, Rebelution, J Boog, The Green and Stick Figure. Through The Roots has become a routine opener for Rebelution over the past couple of years as the band’s frontman, Ethan Hawkins, is the rhythm guitarist for live Rebelution concerts.
Now, Through The Roots will be taking their extensive catalogue on the road for a nationwide tour. The upcoming tour will begin on October 2nd in Las Vegas and run through November 19th in Del Mar, California. In total, Through The Roots will perform 31-dates in under 50-days. Some of the major tour stops include five shows up and down Florida, New York, Chicago, Denver, Portland, and seven dates up and down the coast of California to conclude the tour.
The upcoming tour will feature Through The Roots as headliners, as well as, special guests Josh Heinrichs, Dustin Thomas, Sun Dried Vibes, The Late Ones, and Darenots.
