This year’s BoomTown Fair has announced the first round of artists to perform in the Hampshire, United Kingdom.
Over the past five years, BoomTown Fair has become one of the premier reggae festivals throughout Europe. Some of the top-tier artists and bands have been featured on their festival lineup. After only the first announcement this week, the 2016 edition of the BoomTown Fair will be the best yet. 
The first round of artists to perform at the U.K. festival will be Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Mad Professor, Inner Circle, Morgan Heritage, Tarrus Riley, Dean Fraser, Tippa Irie, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Kabaka Pyramid, Solo Banton, Junior Kelly, Tanya Stephens, The Skints, Manu Digital, Mungo’s HI-FI and Zion Train.
At other festival’s the depth and talent of this single announcement would be a full, three-day weekend schedule. That is not the case with BoomTown Fair, as there will be two more artist announcements in the coming months.
BoomTown Fair will take place at Matterley Estate in Hampshire, U.K. from August 11-14, 2016.
Ticket prices range from $150 to $190 for three tiers of tickets and passes to the four-day event.
There are also options for camping, travel from neighboring countries and lodging around the festival.
