Two of the premier Jamaican reggae artists will be performing live at the infamous, Coachella Festival.
Protoje and Chronixx have become two of the fastest rising reggae artists in the genre today. In successive years, Billboard named both Chronixx and Protoje’s most recent albums as one of the best reggae albums of their respective year. Now, the mainstream festival circuit has taken notice.
Both Protoje and Chronixx will be performing at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California. The festival will take place at the Inland Empire Polo Grounds in the Coachella Valley on two separate weekends in April. The first weekend will be April 15-17, 2016 followed by the second weekend on April 22-24, 2016.
For the reggae music lovers seeking to witness both Protoje and Chronixx, you are in luck! Both artists will be performing on the same day for both weekends (Saturday April 16th and 23rd, 2016). Perhaps fans will even get the chance to see the live performance of the duo’s collaborative hit single, “Who Knows”.
General Admission weekend passes are being sold for $399. Most tickets have already been sold. But, their are secondary market ticket outlets, such as StubHub! that have tickets for purchase at varying prices.
Other mainstream headliners on the lineup include Guns N’ Roses, Ice Cube, Major Lazer and Rancid, among many others.
