What could be better than a Katchafire, The Black Seeds or Sons of Zion tour? All three touring together!
The cream of New Zealand’s Roots-Rock-Reggae scene create a melting pot of almost unrealistic proportions when Katchafire, The Black Seeds and Sons of Zion will unite this December for a tour de force of tri-colored vibes with their upcoming tour.
The Black Seeds, Katchafire & Sons Of Zion bring the green, yellow and red timbre to the New Zealand summer touring circuit, with the summer caravan set to begin on Friday on December 18th in Napier, NZ.
In each band’s own right, they can be considered headline performing acts on an international level, but for this one time treat, the trio will share the stage from the middle of December until January 9th in Mangawhai, NZ. And, all three of the bands have been hard at work in the studio, getting prepared for their next studio album release. So, fans will more than likely experience some never before heard music from these New Zealand reggae bands.
On select dates for this New Zealand tour, Ladi 6 and Kora will also be special guests.
For those looking for one destination to catch the best in New Zealand reggae music, a fly-away trip for fans must certainly include the One Love Music Festival on February 7th, 2016. And, for mainland United States reggae lovers, Katchafire will be performing at the 6th annual California Roots Music and Arts Festival in Monterrey, California in May 2016.
