One of the longest tenured reggae music festivals in the United States is the annual Reggae on the River Festival in California. As the first round of artist announcements is unveiled, the 31st annual edition appears to be living up to past legendary lineups.
Humboldt County, California has been the home to Reggae on the River since the music festival’s inception, and each year the rural lands of French’s Camp in Northern California is graced with the presence and sounds of some of the elite touring acts in the reggae genre. 
With the early announcements of headliners Stephen Marley, Protoje, Tarrus Riley, Alborosie, Collie Buddz, Stick Figure, Cham, Nahko and Medicine for the People, among many others, folks will once again be astounded by the amount of talent on the stage throughout the three-day music festival.
And, the full artist lineup is still being finalized for the July 30th – August 2nd festival. If last year’s lineup is any indication of what is in store for 2015, look no further than Jimmy Cliff, Alpha Blondy, Gentleman, Iration, Israel Vibration, Gyptian and Third World as the highlights from the year prior.
Tickets are currently on sale, but will move quickly as the summer festival season draws closer.
