2019 Festivals: Poly’s Finest Fest

Honolulu will be home to some of the most talented Polynesian performers in the island reggae touring circuit.

For ten-years, Hawaii’s Finest has been committed to bringing island locals in the “Aloha State” the best and biggest in local apparel and music. Beginning as a clothing company, Hawaii’s Finest has outfitted some of the Hawaiian Islands’ most recognizable names in the reggae genre, such as J Boog, Fiji, Kapena, Ekolu and Maoli, as well as Aotearoa’s premier roots reggae band, Katchafire.

Poly's Finest Fest 2019With that loyal relationship with performers, Hawaii’s Finest has produced some of the island’s biggest festivals and showcases at the legendary Waikiki Shell, The Republik, the Honolulu Convention Center, and recently called the historic Bishop Museum home.

This year’s Poly’s Finest Fest will take place on The Great Lawn at Bishop Museum in the historic Kalihi district of Honolulu. Bishop Museum, which is the world’s largest collection of Polynesian cultural artifacts and natural history specimens, sits on hallowed ground, that has a lengthy history dating back to the Kamehameha Dynasty and the Kingdom of Hawai’i.

It is only fitting that some of the preeminent Polynesian performers grace the stage at such a historic site. The 2019 Poly’s Finest Fest will feature performances by Sammy Johnson, Tenelle, Finn Gruva, Josh Tatofi, Josh Wawa White and Kapena.

Last year, nearly 5,000 people attended the inaugural Poly’s Finest Fest on O’ahu. With another stacked lineup for this year’s festival, the crowd will certainly reach capacity.

Tickets for the 2019 Poly’s Finest Fest are currently available for $30, while VIP passes are $80.
