Raging Fyah: New Album & Tour

Billed as the new generation of Jamaican roots, rock, reggae music, Raging Fyah has a new album and tour.

Raging Fyah, the five-piece outfit includes Kumar Bent on lead vocals, Courtland White on guitar, Anthony Watson on drums, Demar Gayle on keyboards, and Delroy “Pele” Hamilton on bass. Coming from the heart of Jamaican music, Raging Fyah recorded Everlasting at Tuff Gong Studios with producer Llamar “Riff Raff” Brown. The result was a 13-track album, which features guest collaborations with J Boog from Hawai’i, as well as Jesse Royal and Busy Signal from Jamaica.

Over the past year, Raging Fyah has reached new heights, including performing in the United States for the very first time, as the band supported California reggae-dub band, Stick Figure on its Set In Stone spring tour. Raging Fyah also performed at the 7th annual California Roots Music and Arts Festival on Sunday, May 29th, joining Damian “Jr Gong” and Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Barrington Levy, Tarrus Riley, Don Carlos, and Marlon Asher as the flag bearers from Jamaica.

During Raging Fyah’s set at the California Roots Festival in Monterey, J Boog was invited on stage to perform “Live Your Life”, from the recently released Everlasting album for fans in attendance.

Now, Raging Fyah will travel to Europe for a string of tour dates, including performances at Germany’s SummerJam Festival and Poland’s Reggaeland. While performing in Europe from July 1-9, Raging Fyah will also perform club dates in Belgium and Switzerland, before returning to tour throughout the United States.

The United States tour will begin on July 11th in Virgina. Raging Fyah will perform 18-dates from the east coast to the west coast. The upcoming tour will feature Raging Fyah as direct support to fellow Jamaican reggae artist, Protoje.

To end the 2016 calendar year, Raging Fyah will host their 6th annual Wickie Wackie Festival on December 2nd and 3rd in Kingston, Jamaica. The 2015 edition featured Grammy award winners for Best Reggae Album, Morgan Heritage.
