Two bands from the Big Island of Hawai’i are teaming up on the Hawaiian Punch Winter Tour in 2016.
Flashback to 2008, and many years in between, Iration and Pepper have been touring together with routine. When Iration first started touring, Pepper was the first band to invite their fellow Hawaiian natives on a nationwide tour, as well as Iration (at one point) signing on 
to Pepper’s own independent label, LAW Records.
Some of Iration’s very first shows in California were performing direct support for their Hawaiian brothers in Pepper, as well as, Natural Vibrations. With the growth of both Iration and Pepper since those days in 2008, both have ventured off on their own nationwide headlining tours, respectively.The duo have performed together across the United States at festivals such as California Roots, Reggae on the Rocks, Point Panic, Reggae Rise Up and countless others.
Now, for the first time in years, Iration and Pepper will share a co-headlining winter tour, appropriately named, Hawaiian Punch. The Hawaiian Punch Winter Tour will officially begin on February 17, 2016 in Reno, Nevada with tour stops in Seattle, Portland, Boise, Aspen and the tour finale at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, Colorado on March 4th.
For tour support, the Hawaiian bands have invited New Kingston from Brooklyn, New York to perform as show openers for the entire tour. New Kingston released their third studio album in 2015, Kingston City, which has been nominated as one of the best reggae albums in 2015 by iTunes.
One omission from this western states tour for Iration, Pepper and New Kingston happens to be the lack of California tour dates. For fans in the “Golden State” wanting to catch this trio live and direct, Iration, Pepper and New Kingston will be performing at the inaugural One Love Cali Reggae Fest in Santa Ana, CA on February 13, 2016.
